Great news! After a comprehensive external review process, Laker High School was granted Full Accreditation by AdvancEd on March 23. Members of the AdvancEd review team spent two days on campus reviewing achievement data, observing classrooms, and interviewing students, staff and community members before announcing their findings to members of the LHS staff. The accreditation report gave the school high marks in the areas of leadership and vision, teaching and learning, and utilization of resources. Laker High will now enter into a new five-year cycle, which will focus on new school improvement goals. Congratulations to our staff, students and parents who made this recognition possible.
