Just before spring break in late March, Laker Elementary hosted a Family Fun Night for parents and their children. The evening started with a fun-filled performance from Guy Louis, who invited all of the children to the gym floor to dance and play instruments. He also had some of them sing a few songs of their choosing. Guy had led a school assembly earlier that day, and it also was filled with singing, dancing and instrument-playing.
After the Guy Louis concert, parents and children headed out to the hallways for several hands-on activities and a special snack – lettuce wraps they could make together with the assistance of Laker co-head cook Cinamon Marker. Those who attended the Family Fun Night had a great time! Thank you to all who attended. Pictured are some moments from the action-packed evening.
