Lakers has been selected for a $135,000 STEM grant from the MISTEM Advisory Council! This funding will be used for STEM classes, training and equipment for grades 6-12 starting with the 2019-20 school year.
“This will give us a huge jumpstart on programming for our new Innovation Center,” said Superintendent Brian Keim. “A huge thank you to Mrs. Dickens and Mr. Good for their collaboration on this!”
In order to receive the grant, Lakers had to meet a number of criteria, such as science and math standards alignment, collaboration, need and sustainability.
