Box Tops for Education switching to digital format – UPDATED

As the world is becoming more digital every day, the Box Tops for Education program is following suit. Clipping box tops from products and sending them to school will soon become a thing of the past. Now, the Box Tops for Education program has an app that can be used to scan your receipt, and any participating products will be counted. When you sign up with the app, you would designate Laker Elementary or Laker Junior High as the recipient of the Box Tops funds. UPDATE for Elementary parents – For parents who want to participate in the Box Tops for Education program but cannot or do not want to put the app on your phone, the elementary library now has the app available in the library. Just cut the barcode, including the date, from your store receipt. Send that part to school with your child (you don’t have to send the full receipt). The barcode/receipt will not be returned. The money the school receives from this app will be used to purchase library books.
