Booster programs need volunteers!

An awesome way to show your support of Laker extracurricular programs is to be a part of a Booster program! There is a Booster program for athletics and other non-sports programs, and there is a Band/Fine Arts Boosters program.

The Booster program is in need of people to help sell concessions at home games. These concessions help fund a wide variety of supplies for student athletes and non-athletes. This program gives more than $20,000 a year – that’s amazing! They can’t do it, though, without help. Concessions can’t be provided at games without human power! The Band/Fine Arts Boosters supports the band, choir and theater students. This group has helped outfit the high school band with new concert uniforms and the junior high band with uniform shirts. They provide scholarships to students who attend music camps and help finance the instructors for Marching Band Camp. This boosters group will meet three times this school year – Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m., March 2 at 6:30 p.m. and May 19 at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are in the band room.
