A large group of Laker musicians performed at Solo and Ensemble on Monday, Feb. 6, at Bad Axe High School. Lakers took 32 events, with 20 receiving a I rating and 12 receiving a II rating. As an awesome bonus, Lakers had two perfect scores – sophomore Madison Smith with a vocal solo and 8th-grader Leila Stone with a marimba solo! Great job, ladies, and great job to all of the musicians! All the performers had a great experience, said Dr. Samantha Corrion, band and choir director.
