Congratulations to Audrey McNabb and Caroline McNabb who were selected by adjudicators to represent Laker High School at the Sutton Foster Awards at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing in May 2024! Three adjudicators from the Wharton Center traveled to the Thumb to see a performance of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” here at Lakers in November. The adjudicators offered their reflections from the show, and then collectively selected two actors to represent Lakers at the awards. Audrey and Caroline will participate in an audition workshop where they will receive feedback from their individual performances of two contrasting musical theatre selections. They will then compete against 100+ high school theatre students from across the state at the end of May for a chance to compete in the national competition in New York City. How awesome is that! Great job, Audrey and Caroline!
