At the end of a middle school assembly in mid-March, Laker Middle School Principal Scott Miklovic announced that special education teacher Lauren Armbruster is the recipient of the Golden Apple Award from Mid-Michigan NOW (TV25/FOX66). She was selected by votes from community members, and she was in the running with many other teachers from around mid-Michigan. Mrs. Armbruster will be recognized on TV25, FOX66 and CW46.
