Scheurer Wellness Clinic

Not to be confused with your child’s pediatrician or family physician, the Scheurer Wellness Clinic at Lakers meets the needs of those requiring same day appointments for non-emergent care. For regular check-ups, please continue to use your pediatrician or family physician.

The clinic is by the middle school entrance/exit. The elementary also has a nurse station and it is next to the library.

To reach the Wellness Center, call 989-453-4600 option 1, and then ask for the Wellness Center. You can also email Nurse Kayla Smith at klsmith@lakerschools.org.

Hours

A nurse will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2 p.m.

Laker Secondary Schools are Golden!

Laker High School Michigan
Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port Laker Secondary Schools became a Michigan School Wellness Gold Award recipient in 2017 because of the work the school does every day to ensure students’ health now and into the future. The Scheurer Wellness Clinic at Lakers and the school’s Farm to School program are two big reasons why the school received this awesome distinction. Laker Secondary Schools previously received two bronze Michigan School Wellness awards. Click here for the details.
