The first Laker Secondary School Student Project Showcase took place April 4 during parent-teacher conferences, and the event was a great success. Student-created displays and presentations filled the secondary school hallways, and junior high and high school students took a lot of pride in what they presented. The students presented to many parents and staff members, and they even presented to one another.
Superintendent Brian Keim was very pleased with the event.
“Our secondary staff and students absolutely hit it out of the park,” he said. “What a great event. The kids were so enthusiastic about showing their work and had learned so many cool things. And the parents couldn’t say enough about the quality of the work. I can’t wait to see how this grows going forward!”
